Calle 24 Paseo Artistico is a new project in the Latino Cultural Corridor of 24th Street in the Mission taking place each month. The free day-long event includes a  mural tour, Cine+Mas SF and participating filmmakers will have a film program this Sunday. This month we’re offering a 40 minute shorts program that starts at 4pm, 5pm, & 6pm.

What: Award winning short films by local filmmakers, past Latino Film Fest selections.

A San Francisco native struggles not to become a victim of gentrification and humanize his community of the Tenderloin. He walks through his neighborhood confronted by gentrification as he encounters a Techie that rubs him the wrong way.

Beep by Yvan Iturriaga. 15 minutes
A hectic tale about a young man struggling to hold onto his true nature- and not just another cog in the machine.

My Life in DanceMi Vida en Baile by Amir Jaffer. 13 minutes
At 90, Miguel Santos continues to share his love of Flamenco on stage and in workshops in San Francisco. He joined Theatre Flamenco in 1968, which is one of the oldest running Dance companies in the United States. In this short biopic, Miguel traces his artistic journey and shares events of his life that took him across the United States and to Spain.
