The Cine+Mas San Francisco Latino Film Festival has been called a gem in our community, but we think it’s more valuable than any gem because this event series fosters communal pride, strengthens Latino life, and celebrates the global Latino experience in the Bay Area.

Here are some comments from the audience & supporters:

“The film made me appreciate so much of what I take for granted.”

I heard about this film but never expected to be able to see it here!”

“I didn’t grow up speaking Spanish or in a Latino community. This kind of event makes me learn more about my identity.”

“We’re so glad that San Francisco still has a Latino film festival!”

The SEVENTH edition of the Latino Film Festival will be taking place September 18-27, 2014. We hope that you will be able to attend but even if you cannot, we ask that you make a generous donation to guarantee this Festival’s continued viability, vigor and value to the community as a whole and to Latinos in particular.

Without your support, this is what can be lost:

Screening of stellar independent and award winning Latino, Latin American and Iberian films in San Francisco and other Bay Area communities and the fascinating dynamics of visiting directors and local audiences

Inviting dialogue in an accessible, welcoming environment

Offering free tickets, screenings or programs to schools and libraries and non-profit partners.

There is something for everyone at the fest- fun parties, encounters with visiting filmmakers and actors, and most importantly, thought provoking and engaging films that explore the commonalities of the human condition through the lens of Latino and Latin American experience.

Please consider making a meaningful gift so we can continue to be a cherished resource and vibrant beacon for our community. Your support is invaluable. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Donate online or by check. Checks are to be made payable to Fractured Atlas, our fiscal sponsor, and mailed to us. You can also SCHEDULE a monthly donation through that link.
